Wherever the road leads

Every day I wake up and think "what can I photograph today?" I'm always trying to think of props to buy, places to go, things to photograph. Well, the weather was perfect photo taking weather. So I decided, lets just drive! So we did. I knew I wanted to get on the 89 and head North, but other than that, we were just going with the flow and wherever we ended up we'd be grateful for the drive. I was scouting for some new places to shoot, but mostly I just wanted to get some different photos. This little spot was a little wet & wouldn't be ideal for a family shoot just yet, but I think it has potential.
I love photographing people, don't get me wrong, but I just LOVE being able to have the freedom to do WHATEVER I want with a photo. I find peace & joy in simple photos like these!
The yellow lines in the middle of a beautiful road that I will never forget.
My friend Amy said these would be cute in a little boys Fireman themed room.

I could pull out a camping chair and sit in the middle of this place. It's on a fairly busy road, so it wasn't completely calm, but there were dogs barking in the back ground and every person who drove past me, waved and had a big smile on their face. I would be too if I lived in a place like that.
Reflection.
Crack in the road.
On the way home we saw a train driving over the overpass and Cambria wanted me to stop.

I'm glad we did!
Bridge support.
This is a style of photography that my heart desires. It was completely stress free. I had a wonderful road trip with my kiddos. I have good memories connected with these photos. I think we are going to do this more often!

She's Two Months

Me & the kids met Amy & her girls at the park. Brooke is two months old and we decided to take a few quick shots of her. She looked so cute in this outfit and I'm in love with the bow!

Had to get a close up shot of her foot, of course.
Did I mention that I love her bow?
Holding her hands.
I love that you can slightly see her dimples...just like her sister.
Ending with a silly one.
Happy 2 months sweet Brooke!

Brooke @ 5 weeks

My kids were sick after Brooke was born, then she got RSV & finally at 5 weeks old I was able to have a photo shoot with her. It was difficult, but she was a doll and worth it.

She is such a little poser!

Mommy had to try to soothe her.
I love this fabric that Amy brought for a background!
Giving out some smiles.
